Chester, Mold, Betws y Coed, Rhyl, Restating and the Snowdonia National Park are all within an hour and there is some fabulous mountain biking close by (reputed to be the Olympic venue for 2012). There is plenty to do in the area but if you want a more relaxing break, the cottage is cosy and welcoming and relaxing.
