Lower Wye Valley - Stone Tower The Dovecote is an idyllic romantic round tower hideaway for two situated in the beautiful Lower Wye Valley in the border county of the Welsh Marches. The cottage is one of the last on the former Duke of Beaufort's Estate and within a few minutes of the site where in 1404 Owain Glyndwr won the battle of Craig y Dorth against Henry IV's English army.
