Powis Castle and formal garden is within walking distance and well worth a visit. There are some excellent walks to be taken along the Montgomery Canal, Offa's Dyke and the 135 miles of Glyndwr's Way. Welshpool has a good selection of shops, eateries and pubs to suit all tastes. Shrewsbury is just 20 miles away and makes a good day trip. This property is very comfortable and spacious with tasteful furnishings throughout. It makes an ideal base for two people with the option for 4 as there is a sofa bed for occasional use.
