There are riding stables at the next farm which offer rides over the mountains and to the coast. Fresh hot bread, cakes and "ready meals" are available daily from the owner's daughter in law.

Fishguard has a good selection of shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. Parrog beach has a sailing school and a visitor centre and a breakwater which makes a great walk.
