Cefn Sidan beach was the first beach in Wales to be awarded the renowned Blue Flag Beach award. The beach is backed by sand dunes and the enchanting Pembrey Forrest. The dunes are also an SSSI site and offer a variety of scenic paths to explore.

Pembrey Country Park encourages visitors to take part in their #2minutebeachclean – why is likely why you won’t see much litter while you stroll along the shore. If you’d like to take part, just spend a few minutes searching for any bits of plastic waste that have been washed up. Remember to snap and share on social media!
