Clarach Bay Beach is a small bay in North Ceredigion, a mile or so from Clarach Village.
There is a pebble beach with a small river flowing through the middle of the beach and access to the all Wales Coast Path. Tall cliffs on either side of the bay make for some good walking with good coastal and inland views.

Clarach Bay Beach
A sheltered bay with a mix of sand and shingle sections, Clarach Bay Beach is just a mile away from Aberystwyth.
Backed by steep cliffs, this pretty bay is a popular spot for surfers and walkers. There are a few ways to reach the beach, but the easiest route is through the town of Aberwystwyth and over Constitution Hill – it’s also incredibly scenic!
Once you’re at the beach, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for seals and dolphins in the distance.

You’ll find a car park, as well as toilets and a small shop close to the beach.
Are dogs allowed on the beach?

Just north of Clarach, you can find the causeway called Sarn Gynfelyn at Wallog. This naturally formed causeway is best viewed at low tide, also at Wallog is a small picturesque waterfall.
