The property

A wonderfully presented cottage, situated in the village of Gilwern; a picturesque location with much to keep guests occupied all-year-round.

Ideal for a small family to visit, or a romantic getaway for two, this retreat is a modern holiday escape with a twist of character.

Patio doors open to a kitchen/diner, where you will feel right at home amongst the country-style décor, complete with a charming table, slate floors and lovely oak units.

The comfortable sitting room is perfect for reading a book of your choice, as you unwind in the peace and quiet.

On a nice afternoon, why not take in the the views and enjoy a refreshing drink in the sun.

Also joining the accommodation is the family bathroom.

A double and single bedroom compliment the property, styled with traditional furnishings promising a peaceful night's sleep.

The mezzanine area provides two single beds which can be a super king-size double on request.

The village of Gilwern offers visitors many amenities, including traditional pubs, and shops.

The Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) and the whole area around Gilwern is surrounded by stunning countryside, and offers excellent walking, cycling and bird watching.

The medieval market town of Abergavenny, the "Gateway to Wales", is nestled close by, between the 'seven hills' and has something for everyone.

Crickhowell 3 miles; Abergavenny 4 miles; Monmouth 20 miles.

Situated amidst the Brecon Beacons National Park, the picturesque village of Gilwern offers visitors many amenities, including traditional pubs, shops and a great fish and chip shop. The National Park covers approximately 520 sq miles, and the whole area around Gilwern is surrounded by stunning countryside, and offers excellent walking, cycling and bird watching, as well as great salmon and trout fishing on the river Usk. The medieval market town of Abergavenny, the "Gateway to Wales", is nestled between the 'seven hills' and has something for everyone, with its many indoor and outdoor markets, magnificent castle and museums. The splendid mountain known as Sugarloaf offers fantastic walks for all abilities, as well as its own vineyard, while just a few miles away, the beautiful town of Crickhowell is a must for all visitors.
