Llandysul offers a selection of local shops and pubs and is just half an hour’s drive from the county town of Carmarthen or the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay. A little further north is the regency harbour town of Aberaeron, 18 miles, with its multi-coloured houses lining the harbour and surrounding streets or perhaps visit the nearby National Trust’s Llanerchaeron, a working farm estate, where you can take a stroll to Aberaeron town along the old railway, a great way to while away a few hours and perhaps treat yourself to a honey ice-cream at your destination.
