The property

This spacious property sits within its own grounds in the hamlet of Bwlchllan, close to the village of Felinfach, amidst the rural scenery of Cardigan, between the quaint University town of Lampeter and the stunning seaside port of Aberaeron.

Set over two floors, Rhydygroes offers a charming, peaceful retreat for families and friends looking to explore this idyllic region of Wales.

A large, gated gravel drive, offering off-road parking space for at least three vehicles, will greet you upon arrival, before entering into the porch where you can kick off your shoes and hang your jackets before continuing inside.

Discover the sitting room, complete with a plush sofa, where you can relax after a day of walking or exploring the local beaches, and tune into the firestick TV as you discuss what to have for dinner.

The sitting room opens up onto the conservatory, a quiet spot to get lost in a good book, or simply relax with a glass of fizz whilst admiring the garden views.

The kitchen/diner is well-equipped, housing an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a dishwasher, so you won’t have to lift a finger when washing up!

There is also a handy utility and boot room with washer and heated drying rack, ideal for washing your muddy clothes after a wild adventure.

On warm days, enjoy sitting outside with a refreshing drink in the attractive garden, made beautiful with the décor and blossoming flowers.

You can spend many a balmy evening here in the company of your loved ones with uninterrupted views over the surrounding countryside.

During the day enjoy the tranquillity of the pure, clear air and listen to the sound of the babbling stream that runs through the property.

On a clear night, you can gaze up at the stunning skies offered by this dark sky area.

The bedrooms rest upstairs and include one king-size room with en-suite, one large double room and a twin, served by a family-sized bathroom where you can savour lazy soaks in the bathtub or a refreshing ‘rainforest’, over bath, shower.

Get to know your surroundings by venturing on a stroll, exploring the surrounding fields and wild footpaths.

With around 4 acres of grounds your canine companion is sure to have a great time without even venturing beyond the gates!

Or get on your bike and enjoy the quiet roads and rolling hills of West Wales.

The village of Cross Inn is just 5 miles away and offers a welcoming pub that serves good food or head towards Tregaron, just 4 miles away and visit the Three Horse Shoes in Llangeitho for your pub meal.

Tregaron itself has the Oriel Rhiannnon Gallery Arts Centre that is well worth a visit.

There are a wide range of pubs, cafes and eateries in both Aberaeron and Lampeter.

The New Celtic’s fish and chips on the harbour at Aberaeron and the Castle Green pub’s Thursday carvery in Lampeter are especially good value.

The Cross Roads Garage is 2 mile away offering all your essentials while a short drive will take you to Felinfach with a garage and Costcutter store.

Lampeter is a little further away has both a Sainsburys and a large Coop, both with parking.

Rhydygroes offers easy access to the west coast with its many beaches and coves.
