“The property was very clean and full of everything you would need for a break away.”

Some lovely features throughout the property. The welcome pack was a nice touch! The addition of a hot tub was great and was used most afternoons. The location was ideal for the coast, which was truly spect and worth a visit. A lovely little cottage for a break away.

The property

Settled on the outskirts of Llandysul on the border of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire is this delightful, semi-detached Fisherman's Cottage.

Ideal for a small family of three wanting to explore this part of Wales, the property offers off-road parking for one car, making it easy to get around.

Make your way inside to find an open-plan living space, where a kitchen is stocked with a range of fantastic appliances, including a handy dishwasher!

When the chef of the group has rustled up a mouth-watering meal, bring it over to the dining area where you can tuck into it together.

After dinner, settle down in the sitting area, stick your feet up and with sip your favourite evening tipple.

As the day winds to a close, head upstairs to discover two inviting bedrooms to rest in, a double and a single, as well as a well-fitted shower room where you can enjoy a refreshing rinse.

In the morning, venture out to the patio and enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub, or save it until the end of the day and relax your muscles after partaking in water sports along the west coast or hiking along the Cenarth Falls trail.

Travel a short way to Llandysul, where your amenities rest in one convenient spot, including the popular Porth Hotel, the Cilgwyn Arms pub, Ffab gift shop and cafe as well as the winding Afon Teifi, where you can enjoy an idyllic stroll before picnicking in the Memorial Park.

Why not head to the coast for the day and venture to Penbryn Beach, Tresaith Beach and Aberporth Beach for a day packed with sun and sand?

New Quay is a bustling seaside town with a harbour and the opportunity to take boat trips out to spot seals and dolphins swimming in their natural habitat in Cardigan Bay, with three beaches, fish and chips, ice creams and lots of gift shops there is something for everyone.

Spend the day in the bustling town of Cardigan, where Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan Castle and Cardigan Guildhall Market will give you a great insight into the area's history.

Just up the road is Cardigan Island Farm Park where you can meet not only the animals but can also watch for seals basking on the rocks.

Carmarthen, Aberystwyth, Lampeter and Aberaeron rest a little further afield and offer even more to see and do.

A relaxing stay awaits at Fisherman's Cottage
