    “The dishwasher was out of order, the fridge looked like it had been found in a skip ( rusty dented door) The noise from the hot tub pump made it hard to sleep in the bed.”

    The listing made it look like the Pod was in the middle of a field and not next to the office building. On the plus side, nice hot water, Good bathroom. Clean.

Step up onto the small, lit-up veranda and walk through the stylish circular doorway and enter yourself into this unique open plan living area.

Despite being small in size, this cabin manages to fit all of the equipment and furnishings needed for a holiday in the countryside.

The kitchen is very well equipped with modern decor and the sitting area is complete with comfortable seating with a TV and the picturesque view of the outstanding Powys countryside.

The inside of the pod is complete with a cosy yet fresh double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, making it the ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle and take in this wonderful Welsh scenery.

It doesn't stop there, this wooden pod also comes with a patio area with seating and an outdoor hot tub with the best views around, perfect for a chilled evening with a glass of wine.

The town of Rhayader sits just 2 miles away, a place offering a range of cafes, pubs, restaurants and all of your essentials, as well as a leisure centre and a market.

As the first town on the River Wye, the area is dotted with beautiful reservoirs and dams.

The popular Welsh location of Aberystwyth sits not far away, offering everything you need as well as a promenade with all of the usual seaside entertainment, making it a must visit whilst in mid-Wales.

RHAYADER

Llandrindod Wells 10 miles; Aberystwyth 34 miles.

Rhayader is a small Welsh market town with a selection of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants, amenities and unique little boutiques, including local antiques. An added bonus of a leisure centre with a large swimming pool and a weekly livestock market. The Red Kite Feeding Station, on the outskirts of the town is a great attraction not to be missed. Rhayader is the first town on the River Wye and is home to the spectacular dams and reservoirs of the Elan and Claerwen Valleys. The Elan Valley offers a variety of walks and cycle trails (cycle hire is available in Rhayader), as well as a visitor’s centre with café and children's play area. This area is known as the Wildlife Centre of Wales, with its amazing variety of nature reserves open for visitors to enjoy. There is also pony trekking available in the area. Visit Builth Wells, where the Spring Festival, Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and Winter Fair are all held annually. Alternatively, a scenic drive will take you to the Welsh coast 34 miles away.
