This former farm building has been converted into a cosy terraced cottage with an enclosed private seating area plus an elevated, gated, terrace with a wonderful hot tub in it's own cabin.

Blaenwenllan Cottages

Newcastle Emlyn 3.5 miles. A trio of lovingly renovated cottages in a former barn providing intimate and welcoming accommodation. Set alongside the owners' home surrounded by the beautiful West Wales countryside, these cottages are close to the pretty riverside market town of Newcastle Emlyn, yet a short drive from the fabulous sandy beaches, craggy coves and quaint harbourside villages of Cardigan Bay. The cottages have been furnished with style and comfort in mind, each retaining an individual personality. This small terrace of three cosy cottages are furnished to make you feel at home, perfect to relax in with open plan interiors with well-equipped kitchens, dining areas and comfy seating to put your feet up in front of the electric fire after a day making the most of the fabulous local countryside. Also all three holiday homes have TVs, DVDs and WiFi, and use of a laundry room with a drying cupboard that's ideal for wet coats and boots. These rural cottages are nestled in the undulating Ceredigion countryside, perfect to explore a myriad of landscapes from beautiful woodlands, sandy beaches, rocky coves, walking the ever changing coastal path or visit pretty little villages such as Cenarth, with its fabulous waterfalls and leaping salmon, and they have been awarded Cyclists and Walkers Welcome certificates. Alternatively 16 miles away is the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, with the iconic blue stones of the Preselli Hills, as well as the renowned coastal parkland. The coast is a short drive away with the stunning sands of the National Trust's Penbryn beach just 7 miles away. Why not visit one of the quaint seaside villages, such as Llangrannog, Tresaith or maybe you will be lucky enough to see the seals and their pups on the little inlet cove of Cwmtydu? A little further up the coast takes you to the traditional seaside harbour town of New Quay, an ideal spot for dolphin spotting opportunities; they can often be seen from the harbour wall or alternatively take a wildlife watching boat trip. The popular harbour town of Aberaeron is 16 miles away, a lovely place to while away a few hours, anytime of the year, with fabulous restaurants and the nearby National Trust's working estate of Llanerchaeron. There are various outdoor activities with fabulous fishing rivers passing through Newcastle Emlyn, canoeing in nearby Llandysul, watersports and wildlife watching boat trips and nearby Brechfa Forest opens up fantastic cycling trails. The bustling market town of Newcastle Emlyn is set on the River Teifi and offers an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, such as designer clothes, crafts and jewellery, antiques, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle, plus fishing permits are available nearby. Surrounding Newcastle Emlyn is beautiful countryside, whilst the rugged Cardiganshire coastline is just six miles away, where you have the opportunity to visit Cardigan Island Farm Park, wonderful sandy beaches, or take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals at New Quay. Within driving distance is the town of Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas' Boat House in Laugharne, Cenarth Falls, paintballing, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park and train rides at Henllan, along with an array of castles, mills and craft centres. Newcastle Emlyn is an excellent base for exploring this part of Wales.
