This cottage is attached to the owner's farmhouse on the outskirts of the village of Llandegveth, just a short distance from Cwmbran.

The farm is framed by beautiful hills, woods, meadows and the valley of Sor Brook, which meanders through the fields.

Walk through the front door of the cottage into the open plan living area and you are immediately drawn to the glorious panoramic views of the surrounding countryside through the double-aspect windows.

Beautifully appointed throughout, the sitting area has comfy sofas, ideal for relaxing after a day's walking or sightseeing, whilst the well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar and seating to enjoy home-cooked meals.

Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms, one with a king-size bed the other with two singles, both with far-reaching views of the countryside.

Outside, there is a lawned garden and a patio, ideal for enjoying a refreshing drink whilst taking in the stunning views.

Just a short distance from Llandegveth is the Llandegfedd Reservoir watersports centre where you can try sailing, windsurfing, power boating, paddleboarding, canoeing or fishing.

For something less energetic, why not spend some time sightseeing and visiting some of the picturesque nearby towns such as Abergavenny, Usk, Monmouth or Chepstow.

Glebe Farm Cottage is an ideal place to enjoy the activities and countryside in this part of Wales.

The rural village of Llandegveth lies in unspoilt Monmouthshire countryside and boasts a village pub and restaurant, which offers homemade food and real ale. Just 2 miles west is the bustling town of Cwmbran which has numerous amenities, a leisure centre, cinema and bowling alley. The Llandegfedd Reservoir watersports centre is 2 miles away and offers a wide variety of watersports, which are all available during term time and school holidays for children. Heavily stocked with rainbow and brown trout, the reservoir is also a popular venue for fishing and angling competitions. There are 4 walking trails and picnic sites and families can enjoy the array of wildfowl that reside at the reservoir, which is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Cwmcarn Forest Drive is a popular location for mountain bikers and there are a variety of days out for the lovers of history with fine castles, prehistoric caves and Iron Age hill forts. The Brecon Beacon National Park offers the walkers and cyclists spectacular scenery at any time of the year, with rolling countryside, valleys, waterfalls and caves. Visit the historic walled town of Chepstow with its celebrated race course and impressive Norman castle or the picturesque village of Tintern with its magnificent 12th century Abbey. The market town of Abergavenny is also a short drive away and offers an indoor market hall, a museum, independent shops and pubs and restaurants to suit all occasions as well as many festivals throughout the year. The cities of Cardiff and Newport are an easy drive and are home to many major shopping centres, an ice rink, water rafting, Celtic Manor Resort and Golf Course, Cardiff Castle, the National Museum of Wales and the Cardiff Bay facilities, including the Wales Millennium Centre, the BBC Studios and the Dr Who Experience. This beautiful part of Wales offers wonderful walks in magnificent scenery and many other activities all year round.
