Rachel “Beautiful location- lovely cottage with everything you could need.”
The owners have thought of every detail. We were there in November and it was very cosy but the garden looked great for a summer stay. Such a peaceful setting- we’d definitely return

Elaine “We had a really lovely holiday.”
The cottage is gorgeous, cosy, warm, comfortable & spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed to make our week perfect. We really appreciated all the thoughtful extra touches too - tea & coffee bags, hot chocolate, Welsh cakes & milk in the fridge. Thankyou so much to Sheryl . We will be planning a return visit soon.
- Elaine, September 2024Many thanks for the lovely review and we are really pleased that you enjoyed your holiday here with us. We're sorry we missed you when you left and we hope your leg is better! Property Owner

Linda “We were so impressed with the coach house, when we walked in we both said we would buy something like it .”
The furnishings and equipment were lovely . All the linen and towels were so white . An area to let the dogs of the lead would be the icing on the cake .
- Linda, September 2024Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay here with us and that you were happy with the cottage. Unfortunately we are not allowed to fence in any of the paddocks for lead free exercise and we have to consider the surrounding farm animals as well as our non doggie owner guests and children who play in the main paddock. We wish we could though as it would be very popular with our doggie visitors. Property Owner

Nicola “Just come back from a week away at The Coach House.”
We are a family of 4. 12 and 8 year olds, they loved the outdoor space. We cooked a few meals of an evening.. kitchen was very well equipped. The bed were really comfy! Bathroom had a lovely welcome pack of essentials, which was good as I forgot to pack a few things... Overall... its a great location to explore pembroke. Its clean, tidy and the hosts were great. The Wolfe Inn is a great place to eat. And a hidden gem for great food was The Pump on the Green. Thanks for having us

The cottage is great, very clean and comfy. Everything there that you could possibly need. Shared laundry room is well equipped. Gardens are massive, plenty of space to stretch any legs. Pembrokeshire is awesome and this is a great base to get out and about. We'd 100% recommend this place, Cheryl the owner was very welcoming. Loved it, thank you.
- Garry, June 2024Thank you so much for the lovely feedback, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay here with us and thank you for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy! Property Owner

Angela “We had a relaxing and peaceful stay which is exactly what we needed.”
Set in beautiful countryside with the only sounds being the birds around us . When the sun was shining there are two sunny sides to the cottage to sit and enjoy the sun. Also the cottage is fenced off safely for the dogs .Angie and Steve

Martin “We could not have picked a more perfect place for our Christmas vacation Cheryl and her family were the most welcoming hosts the cottage was perfect all decked out for Christmas.”
The facilities were second to none for us and our four pawed family we were a 20 min road trip to Newgale Beach which we went to every day but we could have gone on walks from the cottage too. We are missing your lovely cottage already and will visit again I am sure. Thank you so much for looking after us the information pack was a great help with useful information including vets and locations to visit we hope you have a great New Year, Rosie Reggie and Arnie the 3 dogs will miss their daily runs on the beach for sure.
- Martin, December 2023Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your Christmas break here and despite the weather the dogs had a great time, you will be more than welcome to come back and Happy New Year to you all. Property Owner

Nicola “We had a wonderful stay at the Coach House.”
The host met us on arrival and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage had all the facilities we needed, and the garden was enormous and loved by the children. It was really handy to have the laundry room available to use too! The cottage was a great base for us to discover the Pembrokeshire Coast. The rural spot is peaceful and quiet, just a 12 minute drive to the nearest large town (Haverfordwest) with multiple supermarkets. Approx 30-40 mins drive to all the beautiful beaches and tourist hotspots from Newgale, Solva and St. David's to Tenby and Saundersfoot. We would happily recommend and would definitely stop here again.

Well-equipped kitchen, cosy fire in the evenings (appreciated coal & kindling supplies). Excellent communication from the owners. We found both fine. It's a quiet rural road, Parking was fine. We found it all very peaceful. Oh, and comfy beds too.

Gill “Lovely property, cosy, comfortable and warm (we stayed in March).”
Cheryl and Paul were welcoming and friendly - it was nice to have milk, tea, coffee and Welsh cakes and fresh flowers in the cottage. We arrived after dark and the courtyard was full of fairy lights and the lights were on in our cottage, which made it very welcoming - little touches that really make a difference. Thoroughly recommended.
- Gill, March 2023Thank you so much for your lovely comments, we're really pleased that you were comfortable in your *home from home* and that your house is now finished and you are settled back in. Property Owner

James “Lovely stay in August.”
Welcomed by owners on arrival. They’d provided some milk and plenty of tea and coffee to get us going. Really helpful on local places to visit. Very clean and tidy. Also had a washing machine and dryer for all to use and the cleaning tabs which was really helpful. Good location, a bit windy single track to get there but worth it: 30 mins from Tenby and Saundersfoot and local go karting was great. Nice pub nearby and food shops. Garden was partially enclosed, if they could fully enclose it so the dog could roam free that would have been the cherry on top. Would have been useful to know where to put rubbish.
- James, August 2022thank you for your lovely comments and we're pleased that you enjoyed your stay here but unfortunately it is impossible to fully enclose the grounds which is why we make it clear that there isn't anywhere to let dogs roam free also we know that everywhere have different systems for recycling so the information as to what goes where is in the grey folder along with labels on the bins. Roger J “This was a lovely place to stay, it was a last minute decision to explore Pembrokeshire, and we picked somewhere central to the locations we wanted to visit.”
It is a small but very well appointed and pretty cottage with a patio garden and 2 bird feeders that were visited by a wide variety of birds including 2 woodpeckers. It was adjacent to the two paddocks intended for use of guests and we had pleasant walks round these in the evening. Older folk should note that the stairs are a bit steep but my wife and I are in our 70s and managed fine.
- Roger J, March 2022Thank you so much for your kind comments and we're really pleased that you enjoyed your stay here with us, you had a lovely week weatherwise too which helps when out and about. Property Owner

Alison “Comfortable cottage in a beautiful location!”
Surrounded by fabulous walks. Beaches not too far away. Decorated to a very high standard, comfortable beds, great shower! Ample room for myself & my two adult daughters + our little dog. Owners were on hand with extra logs when needed, nothing was too much trouble. We are definitely going to stay again
- Alison, February 2022Thank you so much for your lovely comments and compliments, we really do appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback as we try very hard to make the cottages as comfortable as we can. I hope your little dog is ok by the way, such a worry when you're a long way from home. Property Owner

Tan “We've stayed with Cheryl and Paul half a dozen times now in either this property or The Duckhouse, and we always have a great time.”
The properties are clean, the beds are comfortable (and the linen smells lovely) and Cheryl and Paul are extremely friendly and helpful. The area is very handy for all of Pembrokeshire's fantastic beaches. We will be back in the spring.
- Tan, October 2021many thanks for your lovely comments, it's always great to see you all and hasn't the puppy grown! thanks again for the chocolates and see you in the new year! Property Owner

Nicola “Although quite comfortable Cottage was very damp with lots of mould which you could smell.”
It was very cold downstairs and we did not wish to light the log fire as we have a small child and also its May. Quilts on beds were very hot so sweating at night and cold in the evenings downstairs! We bought blankets for the living room. We tried to cook 3 nights in a row but the oven was not adequate and the food took twice as long to cook than it should have and hob took a long time to warm. It was unclear what could be recycled in this county as no info provided. We would also have found some info on local places to eat useful. Awkward to watch tv due to placing of sofa’s and TV but unsure how this could be changed. My husband found the bed uncomfortable as he is very tall. Also door latches are tricky for smaller children. Hard to find initially. Owner was friendly and helped with problems - lights and sockets tripped by the toaster, they provided a new toaster and were helpful in resolving the power issue. Milk, tea, coffee and welsh cakes provided on arrival which was nice. Nice field and play area with swings. Everything appeared to have been sanitised and covid measures were in place. Central place and local to Haverfordwest, beaches and other areas.
- Nicola, May 2021Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay here in The Coach House and I am really sorry you had problems, our prime concern is that our guests have a lovely holiday, especially after the year we've all had! but I would like to clarify the concerns you raised point by point. Regarding the cottage being damp with mould I'd like to point out that it is an old stone building but it has been treated for damp and does not have mould anywhere, it is thoroughly cleaned, aired and everything is either washed or steamed between rentals to eliminate the risk from the virus. It can get cold in the evenings even in the summer but the heating is available all day if required along with the log burner and logs and there are instructions in the information folder regarding turning individual radiators off upstairs if necessary. Unfortunately the quilts are a standard 10 tog although I understand individual requirements vary. We have now just had the oven and hob tested and they are working properly and there are instruction books in the kitchen as we realise not all appliances work the same. There is a list of what can be recycled in the information folder as we know it varies across the country, along with any changes caused by Covid rules . We did have a list of places to eat but the situation regarding openings and bookings keeps changing so we send a link to the 2 main tourist websites for up to date information in the e-mail we send before the start dates. I'm sorry your husband found the bed uncomfortable as he is very tall, but it is a king sized bed with a headboard and footboard. The doors are standard size wooden doors with metal latches in keeping with the age of the cottage. With regard to being hard to find, we are the only ones on the postcode and directions are sent out with all the other information relevant to the booking, I also tell guests to call if they have any problems finding us. Once again we're sorry you were disappointed with your holiday here and didn't feel you could raise these issues with us at the time. Property Owner

Charlotte “The Coach House was perfect, just far enough to be secluded, 10 minutes to the local pub.”
Everything you could possibly wish for a week away. The couple who owned the property were lovely and only a minute away if you needed them, but didn't on impose on our time. 10 out of 10
- Charlotte, July 2019 -
Michael “Advertising as dog friendly but in reality it's not, your website doesn't inform us of any rules or regulations until you arrive.”
We have been to working farm cottages before at it was a great experience but unfortunately this working farm cottage needs to remove dog friendly, just to let you know that we arrived at 4.05pm Saturday and left to go home at 10.33am Sunday, waste of money and very disappointed.
- Michael, June 2019We are very sorry that you felt your stay with us was disappointing. It's clear on the website for The Coach House "dogs must be kept on a lead within the cottage grounds". We are totally pet friendly, we have had cats, parrots and budgies as well and even leave treats and spare water bowls for our guest's dogs but because we are situated in the middle of a working farm we have to be aware of the welfare of the animals around us and not least our visiting dogs. Once again we are really sorry that you felt you had to go home without telling us of your disappointment as our main concern is that all our guests, pets as well, have a lovely time here. David “We really enjoyed our holiday in The Coach House Pembrokeshire, made very welcome by Cheryl, accomadation excellent for both us and our dogs.”

Tan “The Coach House was lovely.”
It was a very comfortable base from which to explore Pembrokeshire and we enjoyed our week there so much we're looking to stay there again in the summer. The cottage is in a very secluded location and was so peaceful. The double bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. We stayed there at the beginning of February and the cottage was always warm. All in all we had a fantastic time.
- Tan, February 2019 -
Keith “Had a wonderful winter break.”
The cottage was lovely and spotlessly clean, we can highly recommend booking this cottage.

Paula “So relaxing.”
Owners very kind when I rang to say I'll be an hour late. Everything was thought of inside the cottage...even milk and Welsh cakes! Fresh flowers. A toothbrush...thank goodness...as I'd forgotten mine! So peaceful. Perfect place to unwind. Thank you.

Debbie “Beautiful cottage in a lovely central location.”
The owners were on site to meet us and the Welsh cakes they left as a welcome have become a firm favourite. You do need a car but it's worth it. Could not fault it.
- Debbie, July 2018 -
Louisa “It was a nice holiday home for the few days we were there for, the only thing that would of made it better is if there was somewhere enclosed for those who visit with dogs so they can use the facilities without human supervision, even if the patio area was completely enclosed.”
Anyone that doesn't have furry friends would be ideal though.
- Louisa, May 2018 -
Bruce G “We enjoyed the holiday and would use Sykes again but our habit is to visit different parts of the country, hence the need for a trusted booking company.”

Jennifer “The position of the cottage was remote but within 10 minute you were on the main roads to all parts of Pembrokeshire.”
It was a pleasure to go back to such a lovely cottage after being out all day. The owners should be proud of their properties and the grounds which are clearly loved and well looked after.
- Jennifer, April 2014 -
