“On the whole, we enjoyed our stay in The Old Stable.”
The accommodation was well thought through and the host very welcoming. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped, and we also loved being situated in the middle of Pembrokeshire. However, we did unfortunately struggle to sleep well during our stay due to the lack of blinds on the skylights in the building. There was no way of blocking the light from these, nor from the internet modem lit up directly above the bed, and so this woke us up early every morning. We also struggled with the duvet as it was extremely warm- great for winter holidays, but not so great for the summer! For this reason we have given it a lower rating than we otherwise would have given.
Thank you for your feedback and compliments and we're sorry that you had some issues. We will look into fitting blinds although it might not be possible due to the age of the building and the modem light is an ongoing issue with our broadband provider, hopefully to be sorted soon. The duvet is a 10.5 tog which is standard but we're sorry that you didn't sleep well. Once again, many thanks for your compliments and apologies for the problems.
