    “There was lots of cleaning issues around the cottage, having stayed in it 2yrs ago, it is now looking very tired & needs some TLC.”

    Lots of cobwebs all over. The cleaning was not to the same standards as before. > Towel holder in the bathroom was broken. > Broken tile on bathroom floor. > Dirty pipes in bathroom > Quite a bit of mould in the shower > Extractor fan in shower was disgusting, covered in thick dirt & dust.

You are ideally placed to explore the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) with its abundance of walking, cycling and pony trekking, or you can explore the thriving market town of Abergavenny, renowned for its local produce or perhaps take the opportunity to visit some renowned restaurants for a romantic meal, with restaurants, including ones with Michelin Stars being a short drive away.

The area offers numerous outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, fishing and local golf courses.

A short drive will take you to either to the stunning mountain landscapes of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) or the meandering river of the Wye Valley.

Slightly further afield, to the south, you have the cosmopolitan city of Cardiff with its vibrant waterfront, castle and Millennium Stadium; it is a truly diverse city which acts as a gateway to the sweeping sandy beaches of South Wales.
