    “Lovely location, quiet and relaxing.”

One misleading factor is picture showing garden all opened up thinking you can use this space but when we arrived there was a fence accross it and was informwd it was the owners space which was dissapointing as the space we were allowed was small and needed cleaning up and grass needed cutting. The lady owner didnt show her face at all.. There is lots of wasps in the small garden space and loads of them outside upstairs bathroom window.. i was stung a few times on the one occasion we tried to sit down outside but quickly retreated inside. Patio needs a good clean and walls are green and mouldy around patio area, not pleasant at all.

Thank you for your feedback, it's always appreciated. With regard to the picture of the garden, it was take when we had gates under the arch and were left open by Sykes to show a better view of the patio. We have since replaced these with a removable fence (for safety) as guests were using the larger garden to exercise their dogs. Unfortunately some owners are not as observant as others and we were finding that they had not picked up after their dog. We do tell guests that they are free to exercise their dogs in the 3 acres of grassland elsewhere on the property. During your stay my wife was unwell and that is why you did not see her. We are a bit surprised that you encountered wasps at this time of year as many of them have died off by the time you were staying with us. We have checked the area and there are no wasps nests in the vicinity. However the Honeysuckle in the patio area does attract many Honey Bees which do not tent to be bothered by people unless they are being annoyed. The patio gets cleaned once a year at the beginning of the season and the green you saw in the area is moss and not mould. This is caused by the damp conditions due to the abnormally wet summer.
