The property

This classic cottage, Little House, is hidden away in the serene Carmarthenshire community of Llanboidy.

Little House welcomes two visitors and their canine companion for a very rural holiday in pristine West Wales.

Little House is conveniently located near amenities including a village shop and has a well-equipped kitchen and woodburning stove and additional oil heater.

After entering your new "home away from home," settle onto futon in the sitting area which can be used as a bed or sofa and unwind next to a wood-burning stove while your significant other prepares a delicious meal.

A glass of wine can be enjoyed while consuming a meal at the dining table or you can go outside and spend some more time taking in the scenery on the private patio.

After the sun has set, climb the stairs, take a shower in the adjoining en-suite, and then climb into the sumptuous double bed.

Spend time exploring your rural idyll by making the most of one of the many footpaths around the village before meeting some of the local furry occupants at Pembrokeshire Llamas, the ideal tourist hotspot for animal lovers.

Visit Laugharne to take in the stunning architecture of Laugharne Castle and soak up the history of the life and times of Dylan Thomas, before dipping your toes into the sand pathways at Llansteffan Beach.

Have a picnic at Colby Woodland near Amroth, which is managed by the National Trust and make sure you take in the spectacular Wales Coast Path along the way.

You'll never run out of things to do because the mythical Preseli Hills, the birthplace of Stonehenge is on your doorstep and a short drive will take you to the bustling and historic market town of Carmarthen.

Take your special someone on an amazing journey to West Wales by bringing them to Little House.

About the location

LLANBOIDY

St Clears 6 miles.

Llanboidy is a small Welsh village with a local Spar shop and Post Office and two public houses. The nearest town is St Clears; a small town set inland between Carmarthen and the coastal resorts of the Pembrokeshire coast. Great for exploring the South Wales coastline, the area is ideal for walkers, cyclists, and explorers alike. St. Clears hosts a variety of festivals and carnivals throughout the year, has a number of shops, pubs and eateries, and the mound of the 12th century St. Clears Castle can still be seen.
