“We stayed at The Coach House over New Year and from the moment we walked through the front door we felt the welcome comfort of the property.”
It was warm and cosy and very clean and a basketful of logs and kindling had been thoughtfully left out so that we could relax in front of a real fire without the necessity of visiting the shops.
Milk, tea, coffee and sugar were left for us and we made a much needed cup of coffee on arrival, and dipped into the bowl of chocolates left out for us. Yum!
We were sorry not to meet Nicola and Harry, who were on their own holiday, but Nicola was just a phone call away should we need anything and she kept in touch with us during our stay to make sure we had no problems.
The weather was against us, but we still managed to get out for a few walks with our dog, Pip, and loved the scenery. Sadly long walks were not possible on this occasion as we would all have got soaked. But everyone we did meet was very friendly and we felt as though we belonged there.
We so enjoyed our 3 night break and will definitely be returning, hopefully meeting Nicola and Harry on our return.
Thank you for an amazing break!
