“Thank you so much for letting us stay in your property.”

We have had a fantastic holiday. The cottage is in a great location, near to our points of interest; Nevern and Fishguard. It is a 15 minute walk to the beach and has a few local shops and pubs (but most don't serve alcohol until 4pm). The facilities were good, plenty of pans, cups, cutlery, dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, etc. But the fridge didn't seem cold enough, even when turned up all the way. So unfortunately our meat turned bad and needed to be thrown in the bin. Also the scissors were broken and the knifes were blunt, which was abit of an inconvenience when cooking. Thank you for the welcome back. The local walks, recipes and Welsh language was a nice touch. It was great to have a contact book of health care facilities, vets, etc for if we needed them. The only negative really is that the Internet is really slow. Most of the time we struggled to use it. Because of this, the property could really do with a smart TV with access to more TV channels or a Netflix account. As we were quite bored in the evenings and wanted to relax in the property.

The property

The seaside town of Newport / Trefdraeth has Carningli Mountain (The Mount of Angels), the medieval church and beautiful castle as a backdrop.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is less than 5 minutes' walk away at the Iron Bridge on the upper reaches of the river Nevern estuary, where many different varieties of wading birds are spotted daily.

The cottage is just a few minutes' walk from a fishmonger, butcher, baker, deli, general store and a selection of welcoming pubs and restaurants serving excellent food.

Within walking distance of the cottage are Parrog beach and the Boat Club.

Traeth Mawr - the 'big beach' is a 20-minute walk along the coast path (or 3 miles by road) and offers a mile and a half of silver sand with rock pools, dunes and cliffs backed by the 18-hole links golf course.

This cottage is perfect for a couple or a small family at any time of the year.
