About the location

NOLTON HAVEN

Haverfordwest 8 miles; St Davids 10 miles.

Nolton Haven is a wonderful seaside village, located on the renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path and within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. This sleepy little village has a sheltered sandy beach where you can sit and relax, explore rock pools, or join the spectacular coastal path for beautiful scenic walking. A country pub serving food overlooks the bay. From this delightful village you can enjoy all Pembrokeshire has to offer: sandy beaches, historic castles, churches and houses, wonderful wildlife both on and off shore with boat trips to the bird island of Skomer and Ramsay, and for something more exhilarating, whitewater rides. The smallest city in the UK, St. Davids, is nearby, with its majestic cathedral, Bishop’s Palace, National Park visitor centre/art gallery and array of unique little shops, tea rooms and eating places, while the bustling but quaint seaside resort of Tenby can be reached in about forty minutes, offering painted Georgian properties set along the bay, and a variety of restaurants. Also well worth a visit are Barafundle Beach, Porthgain, the fossil beach of Marloe Sands and Newgale Beach, great for surfing and water sports, while cycling, fishing, rock climbing and coasteering can also be enjoyed in the area. From the height of summer to a cool winter’s day, you will love your stay in this delightful part of Wales.
