Resting in the beautiful, quirky harbour village of Porthgain is this lovely, end-terrace house, Glan y Mor.

On an elevated position with beautiful views, this pet-friendly property sleeps a family or group of seven in four bedrooms, providing off-road parking for two cars, easy access to Pembrokeshire's renowned coastal path as well as 200 metres from the harbour, and everything you need for a self-catering stay.

Be welcomed into the bright and airy kitchen, equipped with all the essentials and plenty of space for home cooking, whilst the utility is just next door with a washer and dryer to keep your holiday gear fresh.

After the day's adventures, the living/dining room entices you to relax on the sofas in front of the Smart TV, read a book while the woodburning stove keeps you warm, and simply admire the harbour views from the cushioned armchairs.

This homely space features a warm colour scheme and a large table to dine with your loved ones.

However, you'll surely spend summer evenings out in your private south facing garden; an enclosed, pet-friendly space to dine in the evening sun, enjoy the view, and play on the lawn.

As evening falls, head up to the bench in the rear garden to enjoy a quiet drink and the sunset.

As night falls, head upstairs to the bathroom, whether that's relaxing in the bath or stepping under the shower over.

All four bedrooms provide crisp linen, fresh towels, lovely views, and storage space to make yourself right at home; choose the double, twin, single or master king-size with a sofa, en-suite shower room, and access to the garden.

Porthgain is a great location to enjoy the sights and history of Pembrokeshire, starting with the traditional Sloop Inn for hearty pub grub or The Shed Bistro for locally caught, fresh seafood, whilst there are charming galleries, an ice cream shop and a picturesque harbour to explore, all surrounded by stunning countryside.

Local crab and lobster is also available from the local fishermen.

Bring your hiking boots to venture along the coastal path with stunning views and scenery.

Seals and dolphins can often be spotted as well as numerous species of sea/coastal birds.

Alternatively, simply relax along the nearby beaches of Traeth Llyfn (1.2 miles) and Abereiddy Beach, home to the beautiful Blue Lagoon.

The village of Penparc is nearby for more amenities such as a convenience store and the Square & Compass Inn, as well as St Davids, the smallest city in Britain with a fascinating pilgrimage history.

Discover St Davids Cathedral and the Gothic remains of St Davids Bishop's Palace (Llys yr Esgob Tyddewi), followed by a trip to the coast; Whitesands Bay, Porthselau and Caerfai beaches are all close by, but wildlife lovers will relish a boat trip to Ramsey Island RSPB Nature Reserve.

Further afield, you'll find the bustling coastal town of Fishguard, home to the Ocean Lab Aquarium, and the larger town of Haverfordwest.

Explore more of the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park for walking, watersports, idyllic beaches, and so much history to uncover.

Choose Glan y Mor for an unforgettable adventure in Wales.

About the location

ST DAVIDS

Fishguard 15.5 miles; Pembroke 28.7 miles.

The city of St Davids is situated on the far south west coast of Wales. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II, it is the smallest city in the UK, with its magnificent cathedral dating back to the 12th century and the ruins of the Bishop's Palace, both wonderful buildings to explore. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, St Davids is a delightful place with an array of unique shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery. Nearby Whitesands Bay is one of the many beautiful beaches in the area, and walkers will delight in the spectacular views from the coastal path which runs around the complete coastline of Pembrokeshire. Local buses will help with your walking plans, so that you can walk several stretches of the path with totally different landscapes and views each day. Dolphin spotting from land or from the many boat trips to local islands are a must, and are also perfect for enjoying the wonderful array of birds in their natural habitat. St Davids is the perfect holiday destination, whether you are looking for a quiet relaxing break, wonderful walking, a round of golf, an exploration of magnificent castles or fun-filled days at Oakwood Theme Park, farm parks and much more.
