In the morning, explore the local area and visit St. Davids, the smallest city in Britain, for local shopping, the cathedral, and book a boat trip before dropping into Solva harbour for lunch, you can also uncover the historic Haverfordwest Castle, which dates to the 12th century, or check out the Haverfordwest Farmers Market if your stay aligns, home to an impressive selection of local produce and crafts.
Finally, make your way down to Milford Haven a wonderful place to visit for a breath of fresh sea air, where you can make a day of it by visiting the marina and enjoying a delicious dinner by the waterside, if you are interested in history, you can immerse yourself in the town’s maritime history at the Milford Haven Museum, which features exhibits on the fishing industry and local heritage or take in a show at the Torch Theatre.
Pembroke is also within reach and is a charming Welsh town with one of the largest and most well-preserved castles in Wales.
