“As a lot of other people had mentioned ( but not acted on) the place is dated but adequate.”

We only wanted a bolt hole so it did what we wanted it for. However, there are issues which I feel needs to be addressed urgently. The shower is either scolding hot or freezing cold, it didn’t stay upright in the holder which meant you had to hold the shower to wash. I think this would be a massive problem should a child get on there unknowingly. Two of the lights on the cooker didn’t work! I think this would be a massive problem should a child get on there unknowingly. Two of the lights on the cooker didn’t work! The pillows are REALLY dated as are the sheets and towels, they were clean but dingy and if you’re putting out white towels they need to be white! My friend said that the double bed was very uncomfortable ( again something that had been mentioned in the past). The comments book was completely full so we couldn’t leave ours. It would have been nice to be able to leave notes for people who follow. Where to eat, what shops and pubs we ate at but were unable to do so. This is not as I would have liked to leave our message but I looked at the cost for the summer and the asking price is very expensive for the condition of the home.

on response to your feedback I find it over the top and offensive! the love and care we put into our cottage are obvious if you look at the comments prior to yours and the one below, both of which were inexpensive short breaks and not a family holiday with the good reviews below! we will now consider removing short stays. our prices are knew than reasonable all year round and is a home from home . as the new summer starts we hmwill replace towels and bedding due to wear and tear. regarding your friends comments on the double bed, We have a mattress topper on top of the mattress for added comfort, the cooker was in full working order and the shower is a new modern shower, it most likely that you didn't press the button to activate the heat .If you were to contact us we would happily of helped with any queries. we hope your pet enjoyed your holiday as stated the new visitor book should be in the drawer, as we welcome positive feedback.
