“The property was very neat, tidy and clean and had most of the facilities you would need on a holiday.”
The decor was nice and seaside themed and generally, it was a quiet place to stay. A pint of milk and a cake was provided for us on arrival. The outdoor seating area was again very neat and lovely to sit out on a good weather day. The house is located up a steep hill so just bear in mind you'll have to take a car or bus down to Saundersfoot if you don't fancy the steep walk back.
To improve things, I would recommend the following (especially having paid the price we did):
1) Provide guest towels (most other cottages do)
2) We were told that tea bags were provided but there were only 5 left for us. Not a huge problem but I'd have brought some if I'd have known this.
3) There was a nespresso style coffee machine, but not coffee pods provided. We weren't going to buy them especially.
4) The TV reception was no good at all. Although the TV could pick up streaming channels, sometimes all we wanted to do was watch what was on TV at that time but not possible unless you watch BBC. Not a huge deal but again, it's the little details that help to improve your stay.
Thank you for your valued feedback. As the property is rented as self catering we like to provide our guests a welcome pack upon arrival to enable them to have often much needed refreshments such as tea , cake and milk until they have had time
to do their own shop. The subject of towels is a matter of guest preference. We have listened to guest feedback over recent years and overwhelmingly guests prefer to use their own towels . We will continue to listen to guest feedback and can address this in
future prior to guest arrival. One final comment related to tv reception is that we have had a new tv aerial installed as reception has been temperamental and there should now be a good choice of terrestrial and digital channels available .
