Let down by a lack of a welcome, with repairs from previous feedback not actioned and no response to issues found during stay sent to the servicing agent.
I feel its being cleaned rather than a service check, finding the faults themselves and that could be easily resolved and I left a letter detailing the issues as at the same time of writing, the hotel inspector show was on providing the same feedback to an owner.
The lack of welcome comment comes from the cup with four times tea bags, coffee, sugar sachets, an empty log basket and nothing for a dog not even a water bowl - Come on you can do better!
A low cost welcome could be welsh cakes, milk, drinks and a dog biscuit to make that initial experience excellent and I've had at many other Sykes cottages.

Thanks for your feedback. we have subsequently updated our welcome pack and it's pretty much as you have outlined.
we are also in the process of providing dog bowls in the laundry area.
I'm sorry you had some service issues - I have taken this up with the cleaning team and have asked for a service check as well as a clean from the team
