Little discovered and hidden from the general tourist trail in a deep valley behind Carningli Mountain in north Pembrokeshire is the Gwaun Valley. The valley snakes its way from the coast at Fishguard inland for some 12 miles or so by which point it has reached the small rural hamlet of Cilgwyn.
The Valley is home to one quite famous pub - The Dyffryn Arms at Pontfaen and there are also two small breweries located in the valley also. Woodland and mountain walks can be found on both sides of the valley and there is a lovely picnic spot at Sychpant Woods.
We have a good selection of holiday cottages to choose from in the Gwaun Valley - find your ideal cottage today.
