A small distance south of Newgale, Notlon Haven is a sheltered little village with a small sandy beach. There is free parking (as of 28/01/2013) in the car park just behind the beach.
In the village is a pub (The Mariners Inn) which has regular live music nights, a hand full of houses and not much else - which makes this a peaceful location even in the height of summer.
Boats can be launched via the concrete slipway which leads down to the beach and swimming is good on mid to high tide - care should be taken at low tide as there can be strong currents.
The cliffs surrounding the Haven can make for interesting exploration, the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes across the beach here and closer inspection of the cliffs will reveal a good veins of Coal and Sandstone amongst others.
Some 3.5 miles south of Nolton Haven is the ever popular village of Broad Haven with it's vast expanse of sandy beach, should you fancy somewhere a little busier.
