Tucked away along a winding farm lane, Stable Cottage is just a few minutes drive from the beaches at Newport Bay, Poppit Sands and Ceibwr Cove. 

This romantic retreat was once the farm stable.  Nowadays it makes a perfect holiday retreat for a couple.

The coastal town of Newport and the riverside towns of Cardigan and St Dogmaels are all within a few minutes drive and well worth visiting for a great selection of individual shops, galleries, markets, pubs and eateries.

The stunning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with its magnificent scenery and world class walking can be joined nearby at Ceibwr Bay.

Gym.  Wi-fi enabled. Livery - the country lanes and beaches near to this property are perfect for horse riding. If you would like to bring your horse/s on holiday, stabling is offered at an extra charge, please ask for more details.

Holiday Accommodation

Ground Floor 

The original stone cart house arch has glazed doors leading into the open plan living area where a log burning stove welcomes guests.

The SITTING area has a wooden floor with rug and is furnished with a large comfortable sofa and armchair, sideboard, items of occasional furniture, books and games and TV with Freeview, DVD and CD player.

The DINING area looks out to the patio and is furnished with a circular dining table and chairs. 

The KITCHEN is fitted with a range of shaker style cupboards, halogen hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven.  

There is an automatic washer/drier in the cupboard upstairs.  

First Floor 

Stairs lead from the living room to the large GALLERY BEDROOM which has the original A frame open beams, low windows and attractive furnishings.  A comfortable king size Victorian brass bedstead takes pride of place and adds to the character and romantic atmosphere of the bedroom. There are bedside tables with lamps, built in wardrobe and a dressing table.

A door leads to the ENSUITE BATHROOM with a white suite of Jacuzzi bath, hand held shower over bath, wash hand basin and WC.  

Garden and Parking 

There is a sunny patio and garden, just outside the patio door making it perfect for al-fresco dining.  A barbecue and garden furniture are provided. 

Ample parking, for 2 cars behind the cottage. 

Other Information 

There are efficient modern heaters throughout . 

A complimentary basket of logs is provided and more are available on an honesty basis. 

A Cot and Highchair are available on request. 

A Z bed can be provided for occasional use by a child.  

The bed will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival and towels are included (not for beach use). 

One well behaved pet is welcome.  Please note - it is not allowed upstairs and it must be kept on a lead when outside the cottage. 

A gym is available just across the farmyard for guests use.
