A fabulous opportunity to have a holiday in a seaside Victorian railway carriage just yards from Patch Beach at Gwbert on Sea in Ceredigion.

Cardigan Market Town is just over 2 miles away and has a good selection of shops as well as a cinema/theatre and several pubs and eateries. Gwbert has two hotels, both of which are open to non residents for food - there is a spa at the Cliff Hotel if you fancy a treat.

The carriage is simply furnished and decorated making it perfect for a family holiday.

Poppit Sands, Mwnt Beach, Aberporth and Tresaith are all close by. The boat club is opposite.

Holiday Accommodation

Entrance is into the rear extension hallway and through to the KITCHEN/DINING ROOM which has a basic range of units, electric cooker, fridge (with freezer compartment), washing machine and microwave oven.

The DINING AREA has a dining table with 6 chairs.

The LOUNGE has an electric fire and is furnished with 2 sofas, arm chairs, coffee table and small TV.

The CONSERVATORY is on the front of the carriage and is simply furnished with cane furniture and a table which can be taken into the garden through the double doors for al fresco dining.

There are 4 BEDROOMS in the CARRIAGE section.

BEDROOM 1 has a double bed, cloth wardrobe, bedside tables with lamps.

BEDROOM 2 has a single bed, hanging space and bedside table.

BEDROOM 3 has twin beds and BEDROOM 4 (accessed via bedroom 3) has a single bed.

The BATHROOM has a white suite of bath with electric shower over, WC and hand basin.

Garden and Parking

A large lawned area surrounds the carriage, it is undulating and has resident rabbits so care needs to be taken not to step in a rabbit hole.

The cane conservatory furniture can be used outside as long as it is taken in at night.

There is off road parking on the grass for 3 cars plus a boat.

Other Information

There is electric central heating. All electricity will be charged according to meter reading. Please leave your payment at the carriage.

No Baby equipment is provided but you may bring your own.

NO Towels. Please bring your own.

This is a No Smoking Carriage.

Up to two well behaved pets are welcome. More by arrangement.
