This extremely comfortable holiday cottage for two is in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park above Newport Bay and located on the lower slopes of Carningli Mountain where there are numerous stunning scenic walks in this particularly beautiful part of the National Park.

It is a pleasant uphill 15 minute walk from the seaside town of Newport where you will find a range of individual shops, eateries and pubs as well as the Parrog beach.

The coastal path can be accessed within a 25 minute walk or you can flag down the walkers' bus at the bottom of the road and enjoy a different stretch of the path every day, this really is an ideal base for walkers all year round.

Enjoy the lush timelessness of the Gwaun Valley and Carningli mountain with ancient iron and bronze age settlements, changing colours of gorse, heather and bracken, bluebell woods and wild Welsh Mountain ponies, sheep, foxes and abundant bird life.
Bring your boots and binoculars!

Holiday Accommodation

Ground Floor.

Entrance is into the small HALLWAY and through to the comfortable SITTING ROOM which has views of the garden and is furnished with a sofa, armchair, nest of tables, TV with DVD player, maps, books of local interest and games.  There is an electric fire for cooler evenings.

The KITCHEN/DINER is fitted with a modern cream Shaker style kitchen incorporating built in hob, oven, microwave and washing machine as well as a fridge/freezer. 
The dining area has a table and two chairs.

First Floor.

There is a lovely LARGE BEDROOM which is light and airy and enjoys extensive sea views beyond the garden and pastureland.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, lamps and a towel rail.
The bed will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
There is a built-in wardrobe on the landing.

The spacious BATHROOM has a modern white suite of bath with shower over, WC and a hand basin.

Garden & Parking.

There is a semi-circular enclosed garden with a stone wall, lawn area and attractive planting and tubs.

A garden table and two chairs are provided for sunny breakfasts and relaxing evenings.

There is a private chained parking area on the opposite side of the single track road where you can park your car and a boat.

Other Information

There is gas central heating throughout the cottage. Gas and electricity are included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £25 per week at all other times. Please leave your payment at the property at the end of your holiday.

Towels are available to hire £5 per guest.

No smoking.

No baby equipment is available.  This property is not suitable for babies or children.
