The Preseli hills and coastal path are within a few minutes' drive of the property but if you want to just relax and retreat - this is the place to do it.
The cottage has been very carefully renovated providing every modern comfort you might hope for whilst retaining character and charm.
Entrance is into the UTILITY ROOM with fitted units, sink and washing machine.
There is a CLOAKROOM with WC and hand basin.
The KITCHEN has an excellent range of painted Shaker units, fridge/freezer, range cooker, dishwasher, microwave oven and breakfast bar with 2 stools.
A door leads to the large SITTING and DINING ROOM which has a wood burning stove, wooden floor and painted stone walls. It is stylishly furnished with an oak dining table and 6 leather chairs and there are two comfortable leather sofas, tub chair, coffee table, TV with DVD player and a selection of DVDs, books and games.
An oak staircase leads to three bedrooms which all have sloped ceilings.
BEDROOM 1 has a modern corner window giving the room a contemporary feel. It is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, chest with mirror, a leather tub chair and there is a built in wardrobe on the landing.
BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, bedside chest, chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
BEDROOM 3 has a single bed with a pull out bed under for occasional use, there is a bedside chest and a chest of drawers and shared hanging space in the wardrobe on the landing
The FAMILY BATHROOM has a contemporary bath with a shower over, WC and countertop hand basin.
Bed linen is provided for all the beds and a bath towel and hand towel per guest is included in the rental (not for beach use).
The cottage is surrounded by farm land and buildings - the farmer tends his grazing flock daily but apart from that you are quite alone.
There is a large private lawn area in front of the cottage and an area large enough for ball games behind.
Garden furniture is provided.
The owners offer use of an adjacent lockable outbuilding for storing bikes etc.
There is oil fired heating throughout the cottage - this is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 a week at other times - the owner will call to collect this payment. A basket of logs is provided for the fire and more are available to buy locally.
A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available.
Towels are included in the rental.
Two well behaved dogs are welcome but must not be allowed on any soft furnishings or upstairs. A shed is available should you wish to leave them for an hour or two. Farmland surrounds so the dogs must be kept on leads when out and about.
This property offers an out of season small party discount of 20% off the marked price for breaks taken between November and March. Excluding school holidays.
