Details

High above the Gwaun Valley with glorious views of the Preseli hills - Brewery holiday cottage is aptly named as the owners run The Gwaun Valley micro-brewery from the 155 acre sheep farm. Real ales are brewed in the old fashioned way with malted barley, hops and local spring water.

Newport, Dinas, Fishguard and Rosebush are all 5 miles from the cottage. Newport and Fishguard have a selection of shops, galleries and eateries and there are lovely beaches at Dinas and at Newport.

The coastal path and the Preseli Hills make for excellent walking.

Bessie's pub is just a mile away and well worth a visit.

Every Saturday an acoustic music evening is held in the Brewery.

Holiday Accommodation

This converted cart house cottage sits prettily in the far corner of the farmyard with a low, curved wall for privacy and a secluded patio to the rear.

Entrance is into a hallway and through to the open plan living area with the original arched door now made into an attractive window.  There is a tiled floor with rugs and the owners attractive watercolour paintings hang on the walls.

The KITCHEN AREA comprises a wall of fitted oak units incorporating integral electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, and microwave oven.

The DINING AREA has a pine dining table and 4 farmhouse chairs.

The SITTING AREA has a leather sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee table, wall mounted TV with DVD player, radio and a selection of DVDs, books and games.

There is a TWIN BEDROOM with 2 single beds, bedside table and chest.

There is an adjacent SHOWER ROOM with shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.

Stairs lead from the open plan room to BEDROOM 2 which is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers with stool and wardrobe.

There is an EN-SUITE BATHROOM with a bath with shower over, WC and hand basin.

Bedlinen and towels are included in the rental.

The UTILITY SHED contains a washing machine, recycling facilities and ample space for storing bikes, kayaks etc.

Garden and Parking

There is a garden area at the back of the cottage with a patio area and picnic bench.

To the fore of the cottage is a low wall and gravel area with a table and two chairs where you can sit and enjoy the view.

There is ample parking for 2 cars and a boat.

There is oil fired central heating throughout.

A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available.

No pets and no smoking.

Wifi enabled.
