This charming former mill-workers cottage is just a few minutes' walk from the beach and coastal path at Llangrannog.

This small seaside village is situated between the towns of Cardigan and New Quay on the breath-taking Ceredigion coastline.

Set in the pretty valley of the river Hawen, Llangrannog features two golden sandy beaches looking out over Cardigan Bay, two pubs (both serve good food and have occasional live music events), 2 cafes, a village shop and a weekly local producers market.

Holiday Accommodation

Driftwood Cottage is decorated in lovely coastal shades with painted beams, wooden shutters and attractive art throughout.

Steps and a path lead past another cottage to the entrance into the sunny glazed DINING room which overlooks the valley.

It is furnished with a dining table, 4 chairs and a bench.

The SITTING ROOM has the original stone and slate fireplace with a woodburning stove (the original bread oven is to the side) two comfortable sofas, TV with Freeview, DVD and occasional furniture.

The KITCHEN is fitted with a range of white Shaker style units, a range that is used for the heating, electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave oven.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with exposed painted beams, velux windows and cottage windows with shutters.

BEDROOM 1 has a double bed, bedside shelves with lamps, built in wardrobes and a pretty chest of drawers.

BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, bedside tables and a built in wardrobe.

The SHOWER ROOM has a suite of corner shower, WC and hand basin.

There is a UTILITY store on the first terrace with tumble dryer, freezer and ample space for storing surfboards, wetsuits etc.

Garden and Parking

The garden is set out over 4 terraces and overlooks the Hawen Valley.

1 is the cottage and the path, 2 is the patio with garden furniture and utility store, 3 is a seating area where the washing line is, and 4 is a small railed area laid to grass overlooking the brook.

There are gates at levels 1, 2 and 4.

Parking is available in the nearby free car park (4 minute's walk) or in the layby close to the cottage.

Other Information

There is oil central heating throughout the cottage, this is included in the rental.

A complimentary supply of logs is provided for the wood burning stove at the start of your holiday and more can be purchased locally.

A cot and highchairs are provided.

All the beds are made up with fresh linen for your arrival.

Towels are included (not for beach use).

2 dogs are welcome, and a stairgate is provided to prevent dogs from going upstairs.

WiFi enabled.

No smoking.
