This amazing converted cornmill is situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire and provides stylish and contemporary living with character and charm in abundance.

It was featured on "A Place in the Sun - home or away".

There are lovely rural views of Bletherston Hill and open countryside from the mill. The towns of Haverfordwest and Narberth are both about a 20 minute drive and this is an ideal location from which to explore the whole of Pembrokeshire.

The coast is about half an hour away and Llys y Fran reservoir is great for fishing, boating and walking.

The owner is a collector and has finished this property with style and flair.

A 20% couples discount is offered in the low season. 

Holiday Accommodation

Ground floor

Entrance is into the fabulous KITCHEN which has a range of fitted oak units with built in fan and microwave ovens, 5 burner gas hob, dishwasher and a fridge.

There is an island unit with 2 bar stools, panoramic picture windows and patio doors leading to a decked area.

Steps lead to the UTILITY/KITCHENETTE area with a sink, wine & beer fridge, breakfast table and 4 chairs.  There is another freezer and a washing machine in the SHED which also has ample space for storing bikes and beach gear. 

There is a downstairs SHOWER ROOM with shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.

The READING ROOM has a woodburning stove and double doors which in the summer months can be thrown open to let the outside in.  The room is furnished with a comfortbale leather sofa, 2 wicker chairs, glass coffee table, occasional furniture, TV, DVD and music system.

The dining area & snug are separated by a stable stall and have a stable door and exposed beams.
The DINING AREA is furnished with an extendable table, 8 chairs and Welsh dresser full of interesting things.

The SNUG has a settle, piano, wooden rocking chair, old music box, modern blue tooth music system and a selection of games.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor.

BEDROOM 1 has a king size brass bedstead, linen chest, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest with mirror and French doors to the decked area.

The EN-SUITE SHOWER room has a deluge shower (which lights up!), WC and hand basin.

BEDROOM 2 also has a double brass bedstead, linen chest, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest with mirror and French doors to the decked area.

The EN-SUITE SHOWER room has a walk in deluge shower, WC and hand basin.

First floor

There are two staircases and all the upstairs rooms have sloped ceilings, velux windows and exposed beams.

The stunning SITTING ROOM has an oak floor; high exposed A frame rafters, stone fireplace with woodburning stove, two very large and comfortable sofas, items of occasional furniture, TV with DVD, a selection of books and more interesting curios and art.

BEDROOM 3 has twin beds, bedside table with lamp, chest with mirror and clothes hanging space.

The FAMILY BATHROOM has a suite of double ended Jacuzzi bath, WC and bowl sink set on a wash stand.

BEDROOM 4 is accessed via the second staircase from the kitchenette area.  The bedroom has a large antique 5' brass bedstead (please note that with the sloped ceilings this makes access to either side of the bed limited), bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers with mirror, clothes hanging space.  The downstairs shower room previously mentioned is at the foot of the staircase.

Garden and Parking

There is a large open garden which consists of lawns; decked areas and children's play area with wooden swing and slide (used at your own risk).

There is ample garden furniture, gas barbecue and chimenea.

There are 7.5 acres in total, most of which is sand school and paddocks for the owner's horses.

Other Information

All the ground floor rooms have stone flagstone floors with underfloor heating, the upstairs rooms have oak floors and radiators.

All fuel is included from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £40 per week at all other times, payable when booking.

One basket of logs is supplied for the wood-burner - more available from local shops.

A travel cot and highchair are available.

Beds will be made up with fresh linen.

Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest (when only two guests, these are complimentary).

Satellite wi-fi - ideal for checking mail but not good for streaming.

2 well behaved pets welcome but must be kept under control as there are animals grazing.
