This large three storey family home is situated a short walk from Parrog beach, the coastal path and the popular seaside town of Newport in north Pembrokeshire.
Newport has an excellent selection of eateries, small shops, galleries and pubs. A short walk leads you to Parrog beach, a favourite with children, boating enthusiasts or those with time to enjoy the glorious view. Parrog beach is also dog friendly if you are bringing a pet, as is the coastal path.
Traeth Mawr (Big Beach) can be walked to at low tide by crossing the estuary or you can take a longer walk around the bird sanctuary estuary and the coastal path.
Newport really does have it all!
The house has been completely renovated and rebuilt and offers superb accommodation.
The side entrance is into the KITCHEN/DINING ROOM with a gas fire and floor to ceiling glazed wall.
The bespoke kitchen is designed and built by James Ratford of Ratford Bridge and has a gas hob, double electric ovens, American fridge/freezer with ice maker, wine fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
The DINING AREA has a large dining table with 10 chairs, comfortable sofa, occasional furniture, smart TV and enjoys views of the patio.
There is a UTILITY with sink, storage & washing machine as well as a separate DRYING ROOM.
The WET ROOM which has access from the utility and the patio is perfect for washing the sand off after a day on the beach or getting clean before you go in the hot tub.
Separate WC and hand basin.
The attractively decorated SITTING ROOM is an adult space, it has a bay window and is furnished with sofas, pouffs, coffee table and a wall mounted TV.
Stairs lead from the hallway to the first floor where there are 4 bedrooms.
BEDROOM 1 has a double bed, bedroom furniture, EN-SUITE bathroom with shower over bath, WC and hand basin and French doors leading to a glass balcony with sea views (also accessed via steps from the garden).
BEDROOM 2 has twin zip'n'link 3' beds, bedroom furniture and EN-SUITE shower room with WC and hand basin.
BEDROOM 3 has twin zip'n'link 3' beds and furniture.
BEDROOM 4 is small and has a single bed.
The FAMILY BATHROOM has a suite of bath, shower over, WC and hand basin.
On the second floor is
BEDROOM 5 - the attic master suite which has a velux balcony window with lovely sea views. The bedroom is furnished with twin zip'n'link 3' beds and bedroom furniture.
The EN-SUITE shower room has a suite of large shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.
There is a lovely balcony accessed from the garden via a flight of steps or from bedroom 1.
The balcony has a table and chairs and makes a great place to watch the sun set.
There is a lawned garden and deck area with a SOFT TUB (leather hot tub). This is offered at an extra charge of £100 per week (payable when booking). Please indicate when you are booking if you do NOT require the soft tub as it will automatically be added so that it can be prepared for your arrival.
There is a sheltered COURTYARD PATIO area outside the kitchen and dining room.
Plenty of outdoor seating is provided.
Off road parking for 1 large or 2 small cars. More on the roadside.
There is gas central heating throughout, this is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £45 at all other times (payable when booking).
A cot, highchair and stairgate are provided.
All the beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
All the 3' zip'n'link beds are made up as singles but can be zipped to make 6' king size beds if requested at time of booking.
Bath and hand towels may be hired at £5 per guest (not for beach or hot tub use).
2 small and very well behaved pets are welcome - restricted to downstairs hard floor areas only.
No smoking in the property.
This property does not accept short breaks.
