This charming character cottage makes a perfect holiday retreat in the tiny hamlet of St Nicholas; a pretty cluster of cottages just a few minutes' drive from Strumble Head, Abereiddy, Porthgain, St Davids, Goodwick and Fishguard.

The North Pembrokeshire coastline is stunning and the Pembrokeshire coast path is just over a mile away.

The coastal bus stop is just outside the cottage, enabling you to walk different sections of the path each day.

The cottage is just 1.5 miles from Abermawr beach a stunning place walk the dogs; there are also lots of lovely walks from the cottage door if you can tear yourself away from this gorgeous holiday home.

Holiday Accommodation

This traditional cottage has lots of character combined with contemporary style and modern fittings with lovely finishing touches.

Entrance is into the spacious, light and airy open plan kitchen, sitting and dining room with a painted exposed beamed ceiling, slate tiled floor and a welcoming woodburning stove.

The LIVING & DINING AREA has a circular dining table with 5 chairs, sideboard, lamps, two seater sofa, TV and occasional furniture.

A breakfast bar divides the dining area from the KITCHEN which has a high vaulted ceiling with skylight and is particularly well equipped with just about everything you could need.

There is an electric oven and hob, larder fridge, dishwasher, butlers sink and a range of fitted cream Shaker style units.

A door leads to the BREAKFAST ROOM which looks on to the garden and is furnished with a circular table and 3 chairs.

The UTILITY ROOM has a freezer, washing machine, electric clothes airer, picnic hamper and storage baskets for fruit and veg.

The downstairs BATHROOM has a suite of bath with hand held shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.

The SITTING ROOM has an electric style woodburner, 2 seater sofa, 2 bucket chairs, wooden armchair, sideboard with games, coffee table, TV, DVD player and occasional furniture.

Upstairs there are 3 very attractive bedrooms.

BEDROOM 1 has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers with mirror and a chair.

BEDROOM 2 has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and mirror.

There is a SHOWER ROOM with a shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.

Garden & Parking

There is a pretty garden to the rear of the cottage which is approached via a few steps.

It is dog proof (owners have a miniature dachshund and a retriever) and has attractive planted borders, gravel paths and a patio.

A picnic bench and a large barbecue are provided as well as 2 steamer chairs and a garden seat.

A door leads to the garage which has been made into a GAMES ROOM and has an astro turf floor, leather sofa and a games table with air hockey, pool & table tennis.

There is parking on the roadside for 2 cars and 1 smallish off road space.

Other information

There is LPG gas heating throughout the property, this is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times. Please pay at the property. Logs for the wood-burner are available at local garages.

A travel cot, tot-seat chair and a stairgate are provided.

Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest. (Towels are included when just a couple are booking).

WiFi enabled.

2 pets (more by arrangement) are welcome and the garden is enclosed.

No smoking.
