The Cardigan Bay towns of New Quay, Aberaeron, Cardigan and Aberporth are all less than half an hour away and well worth a visit.
This cottage is perfect for couples or small families.
Beudy Bendigaid is an upside down cottage with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living accommodation upstairs.
The large open plan kitchen, dining and living room is light and airy and has exposed A frame rafters and a wooden floor.
The galley KITCHEN has a range of fitted cupboards, electric cooker with double oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave as well as a good range of utensils for the keen cook.
The DINING AREA has an antique pine dining table with 6 chairs, Compton cinema organ (tuned and in good working order so playing is reserved for those who are competent ).
The relaxing SITTING area has a woodburning stove for cosy evenings, comfortable leather sofa, armchairs, coffee table, occasional furniture, bookcases with a selection of books and games to enjoy, TV, DVD player, radio, CD player and lamps.
There are 2 spacious bedrooms downstairs; both with exposed wooden beams and period furnishings.
BEDROOM 1 has a king size bed, bedside cabinets with lamps wardrobe, dressing table, armchairs, wall mounted TV and a large French door opening to the patio area which is perfect for morning coffee.
BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, bedside cabinets with lamps, wardrobe, dressing table, Lloyd Loom armchairs and wall mounted TV.
The FAMILY BATHROOM has a modern suite of white bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.
There are about 8 acres of well-kept grounds with woodland and pasture to explore.
There are mown walkways meandering through the grounds allowing you to enjoy the lovely views, woodland lawns, small lake, stream and historic well.
Just outside the cottage is a table and chairs for al-fresco dining but you are welcome to enjoy a picnic anywhere in the grounds.
Parking for 2 cars just beside the cottage.
There is full central heating throughout the cottage, this is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 from October to April.
A basket of logs is supplied for the woodburner and more can be purchased from the owners.
A cot can be provided on request.
The beds are made up with crisp linen for your arrival and bath towels are provided.
Wifi enabled, though signal can sometimes be weak due to the rural location.
Up to 2 small and very well behaved pets are welcome.
