Another delightful stay in this cottage which is always a pleasure to enjoy on our visits to the lovely area.

Gwndwn Gwyn is a great holiday cottage in fabulous surroundings.

Thank you to the owners for sharing it with us! It was well stocked with everything we needed. It was cozy, welcoming and very sturdy in the wind! We will definitely be returning.

Gwndwn Gwyn is warm and comfortable.

The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything that we needed. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for peace and quiet and a fabulous location near to the coast path.

We have had a lovely, relaxing Christmas week in this cosy cottage.

The tree and other small Christmassy touches were beautiful. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the kitchen very well equipped - ideal for our festive feasts! The off-road parking was ideal for our two cars. We didn’t venture out, choosing to relax inside. The cosy, comfortable feeling provided by the wood-burner and soft furnishings was lovely, as were the beds. Didn’t use shower, choosing to enjoy nice long soaks in the bath instead. The surrounding area is beautiful, it’s so quiet with no noise or light pollution. All in all, a fabulous week and we would love to return at some point. Diolch yn fawr iawn.

Always clean, cosy, well equipped, well managed and well maintained, away from all the paraphenalia of mass tourism, a home from home in a stunning coastal location perfect for walkers and those appreciating peace and quiet, we relish our trips to Gwndwn Gwyn.

Particular thanks to Nicholas and Betty for making it even more special with the lovely Christmas tree and decorations for our December vacation.

This was our 2nd visit to Gwndwn Gwyn and it was just as lovely as the 1st.

The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed for a family of 4, and is only a few steps away from the coastal path. We were lucky with the weather and were able to get out for a few walks, which was a bonus for late November. We loved coming back to relax by fhe fire in the evenings - we love this place and it’s an excellent place to get away from it all. (Only small piece of feedback is that only 1 toilet roll was left and the door to the outbuilding with the recycling containers was locked, so we couldn’t separate the waste).

Lovely cottage, very clean, warm and cosy.

Comfortable furnishings with an excellent kitchen, well supplied with cooking equipment. Good parking space. The location is amazing, very peaceful with dramatic views from Pwll Deri, a few minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend to others.

First time with Sykes booking no problems whatsoever have been informed with all information very well.

Beautiful property and location.

The cottage is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, located in an idyllic setting within metres of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Ideal for walkers or anyone looking for peaceful relaxation. We would highly recommend.

We arrived at the cottage just at the start of Storm Darragh.

We felt secure and very comfortable in the well equipped property. Throughout our stay there was no failure of services encountered in other areas and in one of the lulls, Mike dropped by to make sure we were ok. Though we were confined to the cottage for most of the time, only venturing out on the Sunday morning we had a good cosy time and a brief experience of the walks available in a spectacular area.

We had a wonderful time.

The cottage is gorgeous, cosy, warm with everything you could want. Best equipped kitchen we've seen!. The location is perfect for many coastal walks, without using the car. We have an EV, but there are plenty of charging points nearby. Just for information of the owner, the key for the back door doesn't work, and we were expecting a few logs for our first night?

Property was beautiful and great set up for us with younger children.

Garden amazing and lots of space to run around. So many extra bits like the skittles and badminton as well as bored games. Boys loved the neighbours (the cows) and went to say hi to them every morning

The cottage is in a fantastic location with amazing views and coastal walks for miles.

The garden is very private with a gem of a large summer house. We will be back.

We loved the cottage and lovely peaceful garden.

Clean and tidy, and a comfortable bed with good quality bed linen. We would come again despite the weather.

Stunning property.

Excellent facilities, spotless and everything you could possibly need. Very peaceful location and only a few minutes from the coast path. Two comments - could do with a towel rail in the kitchen and the edges of the steps to the bedrooms could do with highlighting with tape. Have to be careful when stepping down. In 50 years of self catering this cottage is one of the best!

Cottage was lovely, comfortable and kitchen had everything which was a real treat as I love to cook.

So many books, games and dvds for people on wet days and the garden with garden furniture to chill out on days when you have done too much walking and want to relax is fantastic, one improvement could be to extend the patio slightly in front of summer house, but overall great and we had a restful holiday.

Cottage is spacious and has everything you need. Lovely large garden.

This is a wonderful property that’s very tastefully decorated and very clean in an amazing quiet location close to fabulous coastal walks.

The house has everything you need and is extremely comfortable, homely and very relaxing. It’s hard to find any major fault but the only thing missing for us was a tumble dryer as very difficult to get clothes and towels dried after washing other than hanging on a clothes frame but took ages to dry.That said we will defo return again later in the year if we have time as it was a great stay.

Charming cottage ,spotless on arrival.

Set in beautiful countryside ,stones throw from coastal path. If you are looking for a relaxing break 'to get away from it all' this is the perfect place. Loved every minute and would definitely rebook.

No ice cubes in the freezer on arrival, only 1 nights fire wood.

Directions to the cottage a little misunderstanding.

We would have liked instructions on how to control the heating system.

Although no issues occurred.

A beautiful cottage, very well equipped and very cosy.

Some amazing views, sunrise through the kitchen window with a coffee in hand being my favourite. The cottage was very clean and tidy, and warm and quiet too. Great walks nearby, with inland and coastal walks available and some wonderful places to visit only a short car ride away. We have booked again for next year, too good to not come back.

.. we love staying here... its a lovely place to stay... very comfortable, warm, great kitchen, good WiFi and very quiet. Also only 2 mins from the coast path... what's not to like? Look forward to our visit next year.

A very cosy, clean and well appointed cottage in a beautiful spot.

the only drawback was insufficient lighting to read by. The lighting created a pleasant atmosphere for sitting chatting or watching tv but reading was a challenge - all 4 of us found this. the provision of a stainless steel lamp allowed one person to read but that still left 3 struggling. Maybe another 1 or 2 standard lamps would help. We would return, nevertheless, as we loved the cottage and its location.

Lovely property, well located, clean and well furnished.

It felt like there was a lack of personal touch - e.g there were lists of restaurants, pubs etc but no details about them or recommendations. It was nice to have the option of a fire with logs provided but there were no tools to use with the fire pit (tongs, poker, brush etc)

.. excellent location with great coast-cliff views only a few yards away and ready for stepping out the door and exploring the Pembrokeshire coastal paths in the Strumble Head area.

This is a great cottage.

..very comfortable, beautifully warm, and in amazing location just 2 minutes walk from the coast path. The kitchen is really well equipped, and the beds very comfy. This has to be one of the nicest cottages we've stayed in and have already rebooked for next year!

We had a wonderful week in Gwndwn Gwyn.

It is a lovely cottage with everything you need for a relaxing holiday, and more. It is situated in a great location for accessing the coastal path or just chilling out in the summerhouse with a cuppa listening to the cows. As usual, everything was spotlessly clean and very warm and welcoming after a windy day on the cliff tops. We hope to be back soon.

The cottage is the best equipped and the most comfortable cottage that we have stayed in.

Extremely well appointed, the cottage had everything we might want. Large garden, completely secluded, we enjoyed having it as our home for a week.

I wish all holiday cottages could be this well equipped with kitchen utensils and cutlery etc.

As a busy working mum, I need a holiday as well and not to be forever washing up or putting the dishwasher on if there is only limited plates etc. I.e. 4people 4plates. This holiday cottage gave me that break. Thank you.

The cottage is a gem in a most beautiful location.

I would like to keep it a secret so we can visit ASAP. If you love remoteness, quietness and access to cliff walks and inland paths it is the place for you. Many thanks to the owners, caretakers and Sykes and can’t wait to return to a little taste of Heaven on Earth.

A real credit to the owners. And very well located for those enjoying coastal cliff walks. We really enjoyed our stay.

Quality of cottage and situation of it and how peaceful it was

Cottage was perfect in every way - small and cosy yet spacious, and spotlessly clean.

Location really couldn't have been better for a peaceful getaway, exploring the coastal path and enjoying the natural environment. Had to come home a couple of days early to avoid the Welsh national lockdown, but will definitely return in future.

This cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated with so many personal touches provided for guests to enjoy, including photographs and artwork of the area, and gorgeous handmade and hand knitted throws and patchwork quilts to snuggle under during our windy winter visit.

We arrived during Storm Dennis, but were cosy and warm throughout our stay. The location is outstanding with a one minute walk until you are on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, with staggeringly beautiful views from the doorstep. There are many walks straight from the cottage, meaning that you only have to use the car for shopping, if needed. We would love to visit again, and indeed the visitors’ book is full of people’s comments who have visited multiple times in the past; we could see why. Our only criticism was that the complimentary basket of logs was not provided as detailed in the listing; that said, our expectations were exceeded in every other area and the cottage was superbly equipped, making it a complete ‘home from home’. A truly wonderful cottage - thank you.

The cottage was beautiful, extremely well equipped and very warm and comfortable.

Whilst a storm raged outside, we felt very safe and secure within. The attention to detail in the cottage is lovely with high quality items used throughout. The under floor heating was a big hit ! We will definitely be back. Thankyou .
