The accommodation is divided into 3 levels.
The ground floor houses the main entrance to the building, leading into the OPEN PLAN DINING AREA which has a large table and 8 chairs, a traditional wooden dresser, and a large sofa and television area for relaxing. This room benefits from a large full height picture window allowing light to flood in.
Leading from this room is access to the KITCHEN which has fitted wooden cupboards and all mod cons including microwave, fridge/freezer, cooker/hob, washing machine/dryer and a dishwasher. Off the dining area is the first of 4 bedrooms.
BEDROOM 1 has a double bed, with matching wardrobe and leads to its own EN-SUITE which has a WC, hand basin and bath with shower over. Both en-suite and bedroom look out over the mill pond and waterfall.
From the ground floor staircase is the first floor OPEN PLAN LOUNGE AREA. This area has exposed wooden flooring, stone walls and exposed beams. There is comfortable seating and a large screen TV with Freeview, Freesat from Sky and a DVD player, an ideal area to relax and watch TV or just socialise after a day on the beach. The main bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms are also located on this level.
The BATHROOM has a WC, hand basin and bath with shower over.
BEDROOM 2 is a double room.
BEDROOM 3 is a twin room.
A second staircase in the building leads from the first floor up to the second floor which houses its own SELF-CONTAINED PENTHOUSE APARTMENT. This feature of the property offers guests maximum flexibility when staying in groups of friends or larger extended families.
The large open plan apartment has its own fully fitted KITCHEN with all the mod cons of the main kitchen, a DINING AREA and separate large BATHROOM with WC, hand basin and bath with shower over. The main feature of this level is the large vaulted ceiling and exposed original A frame roof timbers, which frame the OPEN PLAN LIVING AREA with sofa and TV, and screened SLEEPING AREA which has a double bed.
This penthouse has fabulous views over the surrounding unspoilt countryside.
Outside is a large garden overlooking the mill pond and waterfall, with a decked area for the outside table, chairs and barbeque.
The garden is a real sun trap, perfect for relaxing on those long summer nights with a glass of wine.
There is ample car parking in the courtyard.
The watermill has full oil central heating and a mains water and electricity supply. This is included in the rental for weeks in July and August and charged at £50 per week outside these months (payable in cash on arrival).
Towels are also included in the rental, which are available if required subject to a refundable holding deposit of £50 (payable in cash on arrival).
Bed linen is provided for all beds.
No Pets and no smoking in the property please.
Cots and highchairs are available on request (numbers subject to availability).
The owners have fishing rights over the adjacent river, and guests are free to wander their land and fish subject to having obtained any necessary licence.
This property does not accept short breaks.
