The house is large and spacious and while it's been renovated to a high standard it maintains its original character and charm. It is just a few minutes walk to the local shops, pubs and eateries in Fishguard.
The coastal path can be joined close-by and there are some fabulous walks for all abilities and ages.
St Davids, Cardigan, Newport, Porthgain, Cwm yr Eglwys and Haverfordwest are all within a half hour drive or less.
The entrance hallway leads to the spacious SPLIT-LEVEL LOUNGE, the front of the room being elevated to take advantage of the panoramic sea views through a large picture window. The lounge is tastefully furnished, with five comfortable sofas, a feature gas fire, TV, DVD & CD players, coffee table and items of occasional furniture.
The large DINING ROOM has wooden floors and a large table and chairs, perfect for the whole family to enjoy meals around.
The KITCHEN has a beamed ceiling, fitted units, gas hob and oven, dishwasher, 2 fridges, one larder style and one with small freezer section, microwave oven, automatic washing machine, breakfast table and chairs.
Stone steps lead down from the kitchen to the lower ground floor room, with access to the garden. There is a washing machine and plenty of space for storing beach equipment. There is also a basic WC.
There are two staircases in the house. One leads from the main hall to the very spacious bedrooms 1 and 2.
MASTER BEDROOM 1 is furnished with a kingsize bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
BEDROOMS 3 and 4 are at the front of the house and benefit from wonderful sea views.
BEDROOM 3 has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
BEDROOM 4 has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
BEDROOM 5 has a double bed, this room also has a communicating door through to the master bedroom, making it useful as a child's bedroom. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are accessed via the second staircase.
The beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
The main family BATHROOM has a sea view and is fitted with a Victorian freestanding bath, wash basin and WC.
There is also a SHOWER ROOM providing a large shower cubicle, wash basin, and WC.
There are fabulous sea views over Lower Town and Fishguard Bay from the large enclosed garden and a generous patio with garden furniture for al-fresco meals.
There is parking for 2 to 3 cars on the steep driveway to the side of the property.
There is gas central heating. Heating and electricity is charged at £30 per week and payable at the time of booking please.
A cot and highchair are provided. There are no stair gates.
Towels are available to hire on request at £5 per guest.
A damage deposit of £150 will be applied to every booking. Once the caretaker has checked the property is left with no damage on departure your damage deposit will be returned.
