This newly renovated semi-detached holiday cottage offers comfortable character accommodation all year round. The cottage is situated at the foot of Carn Ingli Mountain on a small working farm with the farmer living next door.
Newport has a good selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants and village shops, within walking distance. Fresh hot bread, cakes and "ready meals" are available daily from the owner's daughter in law.
Entrance into open-plan kitchen and dining room, the room retains lots of character with open beamed ceiling, laminated floor and the inglenook snug with armchairs, TV and a multifuel stove.
The KITCHEN AREA has a tiled floor and fully fitted kitchen units; electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave oven and washing machine.
The DINING AREA has a pine dining table and chairs.
The SITTING ROOM has a sea view and overlooks the lawn and patio, it is furnished with comfortable seating, occasional furniture, colour TV, video, DVD and CD player.
Stairs lead from the sitting room to the MASTER BEDROOM which is galleried and contains a kingsize pine bed, bedroom furniture and has a superb view of Newport Bay.
The en suite BATHROOM contains a bath with overhead shower, WC and wash hand basin.
The other two bedrooms are approached via a staircase from the kitchen.
BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, built in pine wardrobe, dressing table, bedside tables, open beamed ceiling and a sea view.
BEDROOM 3 has 3' bunk beds, open beamed ceiling, sea view, pine wardrobe, dressing table, bedside furniture including a pine shelf over the chimney breast.
The SHOWER ROOM has a large shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin, wood floor with rugs, velux window, and towel rail.
All the beds have duvets and will be made up with fresh bedlinen for your arrival and bath towels are also provided.
The lawned garden is accessed via patio doors from the sitting room and garden furniture are provided.
There is ample parking for 2 cars (and boat) adjacent to cottage.
There is full central heating throughout the property as well as the multifuel stove. Electricity and heating will be charged according to use (please leave your payment at the property.) One basket of logs is supplied and thereafter they can be purchased locally.
Fresh bread, cakes and "home prepared ready meals" are usually available daily from the owner's daughter in law. At certain times of the busy farming year baking and cooking may not be available.
A cot, highchair and stairgate are available, please request when booking.
WiFi connection is available at the cottage.
Towels are included in the rental.
Up to two well-behaved pets are welcome.
This property offers an out of season small party discount of 20% off the marked price for breaks taken between November and March. Excluding school holidays.
