Newport is filled with stone and colour washed cottages, making it very picturesque. There are several pubs, cafes, shops and galleries in the village. Nestling in at the foot of Carn Ingli mountain overlooking Newport Bay, this property really does occupy a great location. Available locally are golf, fishing, bike hire, walking, horse riding and boating facilities.
The owner has renovated the building with thought and care, including access for wheelchair users and a "drive in shower".
Entrance leads into open-plan kitchen/dining and living room, which has exposed stone walls, some original arrow windows and high open rafters.
The KITCHEN AREA has a tiled floor and is well fitted with a range of units incorporating dishwasher, fridge/freezer, full size electric cooker, and microwave oven.
The DINING AREA has a large farmhouse dining table and chairs.
The SITTING AREA has a laminate floor, with rug, comfortable seating for 8, occasional furniture, colour TV, DVD, video and Hi Fi.
There are 3 bedrooms, bedrooms 1 and 2 are on the ground floor and have extra wide 3' doorways.
BEDROOM 1 has open beamed ceilings, it is furnished with a kingsize bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and dressing table.
BEDROOM 2 is furnished with twin 3' beds, chest of drawers, and a wardrobe.
The downstairs SHOWER ROOM is suitable for wheelchair access as it has a drive in shower with non-slip flooring, WC and vanity wash hand basin.
There is also a UTILITY ROOM with an automatic washing machine and a second shower.
BEDROOM 3 has limited headroom, there are coastal glimpses from the velux windows and the room is furnished with four 3' beds, bedside tables and clothes hanging space. EN-SUITE with WC and wash hand basin. Beds are made up with fresh linen.
There is a courtyard area with garden furniture to the fore of the property.
There is ample parking for 2 cars in front of the property, more close by.
Full oil fired central heating throughout the property, this and electricity is charged for according to use. Please leave your payment at the property.
A cot, highchair and stairgate are available, please request when booking.
