A delightfully converted former Mill & Stable block in Carmarthenshire situated just a few of miles outside of Laugharne, famous as the village where Dylan Thomas lived and wrote in his boat house.

This self catering holiday property is furnished and equipped to a high standard with quality fittings and furnishings throughout.

Laugharne castle stands in the centre of the village and there are several pubs, restaurants and shops. Pendine Sands, the 7 mile stretch of sand made famous by Malcolm Campbell and his car Bluebird are just 10 minutes away. The County Town of Carmarthen is 13 miles away and has an excellent selection of high street and individual shops.

Holiday Accommodation

Ground Floor

Entrance is into the large open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining room with a high vaulted and beamed ceiling and featuring the original corn pulley shaft.

There are two staircases, one at each end of the room.

The SITTING AREA has a large leather 7 seater corner sofa, wooden settle with cushions, flat screen TV with Sky Freeview and DVD, coffee table and electric fire.

The KITCHEN has a range of fully fitted solid oak units incorporating a double electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven and a large fridge freezer. A door leads from the kitchen to the patio.

The DINING AREA has a long refectory dining table and 10 chairs.

There are two bedrooms downstairs.

BEDROOM 1 has double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

BEDROOM 2 has twin beds (there is one fully functioning electric hospital bed with a hoist in this room, enabling guests with special requirements to sleep comfortably), bedside table, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a laminate floor.

SHOWER WET ROOM - with shower, WC and wash basin and is suitable for disabled guests.

First Floor

The other two bedrooms have sloped ceilings and are approached by their own staircase from the sitting room, both have sea glimpses.

BEDROOM 3 is the master bedroom and has a double bed, built in wardrobe, bedside tables, and chest of drawers.

There is an en suite WC and wash hand basin.

BEDROOM 4 has Three single beds, wardrobe, bedside tables, and a chest of drawers.

There is an en suite BATHROOM with a contemporary suite of freestanding bath, WC and wash hand basin.

All beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.

Garden & Parking

There is a lovely enclosed walled patio to the rear with a table and chairs.

There is parking for 3 cars.

Other Information

There is oil central heating and electric heating throughout, this is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times. Please leave your payment at the property.

A cot, highchair and stair gate are available.

No smoking in the property.

Towels are available at £5 per guest.
